BROAD FUNCTION: The Atrium Professional Brands Finance Department is seeking a highly motivated, energetic individual to join its team as an Accounting Analyst. This position will report to the Controller and will support supply chain and general accounting analysis and in month-end close.

Office Location: Sudbury, MA

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Play an integral role in month-end financial close process
• Prepare and analyze journal entries and account reconciliations
• Complete assigned month-end tasks accurately to meet deadlines
• Analyze and interpret various supply chain KPI’s

• Purchase price variances
• COGS analysis
• Manufacturing variances
• Inventory levels

• Assist with annual planning and budgeting
• Participate in the development and production of reporting and analysis for supply chain
• Create various ad hoc reports as requested
• Maintain Fixed Assets system, calculate depreciation and prepare roll-forward analysis
• Management of product data: standard costing, item pricing, inventory adjustments (cycle counts), initial item set-up
• Assist IT with any product costing related system or reporting changes
• Provide product pricing to various stakeholders as requested

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3-5 years’ experience
• Understanding of GAAP
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Must have exceptional time management, organizational and analytical skills
• Must be highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills to relate well with different levels of the organization, work cooperatively with customers and vendors, Sales Representatives, Customer Service, Quality, Product Development, Production and Marketing teams
• Must be experienced with conflict management and have the ability to work with customers and vendors to amicably resolve issues while remaining professional and representing the Atrium Professional Brands with integrity
• Must have experience in a manufacturing accounting environment
• JD Edwards Enterprise One (E1) experience strongly desired
