We are an agency that values a point of view and to do this we need the best talent in the industry. Day to day, you will work with all relevant internal stakeholders and hiring managers across all offices to understand needs and work with pace and precision to solve these needs.

Who are we looking for ?

We’re seeking an industry experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist reporting to the People & Culture Director to help us source, identify, screen, and hire the best talent in the industry. This is a full time role at least for the first 3 months so we can assess the workload and needs of the business (based on current talent market shortage).

Our ideal candidate will be experienced in the full-cycle of recruiting inc employer branding strategies, shortlisting, liaising with candidates, recruiter management and be comfortable interviewing candidates. You will have excellent communication and organisation skills with a minimum of 5 years experience in talent acquisition ideally within a media agency, group holding company or fast moving business. You ideally have experience managing an Applicant Tracking System with the ability to devise & execute sourcing strategies to find potential candidates. This role requires a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills to manage internal stakeholders, external recruitment partners and most importantly potential candidates and most importantly a passion and tenacity for talent acquisition.

What will your day to day look like?

• You will liaise with hiring managers to identify staffing needs in different areas and departments based on growth or departures
• You will liaise with managers on completion of the recruitment brief to craft the job ad for approval
• You will load the job ad to our recruitment dashboard linking to hiring managers and get copy posted to our careers page on our web site and manage workflow of candidates
• You will push out the opportunity to our preferred recruiters and ensure they have all details necessary to source candidates
• You will also promote opportunities and our employer story to your LI feed and continue to present stories around our benefits to potential talent
• You will source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and Linked in Recruiter and other professional networks, communicate to the team to encourage referrals
• You may need to post jobs to Job Active Govt recruitment site if we need to sponsor a candidate
• You will identify and shortlist the most suitable talent from available candidates. Manage communication with all candidates and set up Google Meet interviews
• You will liaise with our preferred recruiters as necessary and manage workflow and comms with pace and precision
• You will assess candidate information, including cover letter and screening questions, CVs, visa details and forward to hiring manager to review
• You will set up interviews over Google Meet with candidates and hiring managers
• You will also interview all candidates with hiring managers ensuring the Atomic story is presented and that candidate questions are answered
• You will provide follow up notes after all interviews in the tracking system and to recruiters
• You will send briefs specific to the role and set up 2nd interview responses via Google Meet
• You will provide feedback following all stages to lead candidates and those unsuccessful
• You will manage reference checks for internally sourced candidates
• You will establish strong relationships with key Universities for graduate and intern talent pipeline and post to job boards
• You will maintain records of candidates in the master recruitment sheet
• You will provide updates to managers on status of jobs
• You will set up approval forms for hires for contract to be prepared by P&C Director
• You will set up onboarding invites alerting the team of the new joiner inc 90 day plan
• You will liaise with candidates up to their first day when we welcome them to the team
• And when you aren’t filling immediate roles you will be building the talent pipeline and reaching out actively on LI to connect and set up conversations with potential candidates
• To manage this role you are super organised and able to juggle numerous projects and details and maintain a high energy level. You are proactive and able to move from stage to stage with little supervision once you have been trained in the way we manage recruitment. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You have a passion for talent scouting and high energy to do so despite the current challenges of the market. You have the ability to manage a broad scope of tasks and deliver to tight deadlines working with pace and precision. You also will need to have a flexible approach and adapt quickly to change. You will have experience working on Mac using G suite of products inc sheets/docs/folders.
