At Atomic212 we are always looking to strengthen our organisation by adding the best available talent to our staff. We are a team of 120 people with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Darwin and Brisbane.
We’re seeking a HR Specialist to support administration of HR and to help us source, identify, screen, and hire individuals for various roles in our company.
You will be reporting to the People & Culture Manager and working closely with People & Culture, Operations and Payroll to support administration of HR.
Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, proficient in Google docs and word processing. Preferred media industry experience, with 2-3 years experience in talent acquisition and/or HR ideally within a media agency or large corporate holding company. This full time role requires a candidate who is able to work within a small team and conduct tasks autonomously with excellent interpersonal skills to manage internal stakeholders, external recruitment partners and most importantly potential candidates.

Objectives of this Role

• Execute the hiring strategy of the organisation to ensure our teams consist of a diverse set of qualified individuals aligned to our culture and values
• Ensure the staffing needs of the company are being met
• Devise and implement sourcing strategies to build pipelines of potential applicants, such as employer branding initiatives
• Implement end-to-end candidate hiring and onboarding processes to ensure a positive experience
• Form close relationships with hiring managers to ensure clear candidate/interviewer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with on-boarding and off-boarding process ensuring all paperwork is saved to staff files and onboarding platform Flare is up to date, carrying out exit interviews if necessary
• Communicates with (IT) to off board employees or redirect emails to the manager. Maintaining security is essential. Updates spreadsheet with current & active employees
• HR admin tasks
• Coordinate with external recruiters, share briefs and facilitate interview process
• Assisting with Smart Recruiters platform – create job ads, assess candidates’ information, including cover letters and screening questions, CVs, visa details
• Help manage Visa process in conjunction with Immigration consultant and myself
• Assist with tracking of Probations and Annual Reviews, liaising with managers to ensure reviews are completed timely and saved to staff folder
• Management of org charts for Sydney, Melbourne and Darwin updating for new employees and departures so it’s accurate at all times
• Helps drive and organise Connection and Wellbeing activities

• Work experience 2-3 years in talent acquisition or similar roles ideally within the media or advertising industry
• Degree in HR or similar will be advantegeous
• Familiarity with social media, CV databases, and professional networks
• Experience with full-cycle recruiting inc employer branding strategies, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
• Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems ideally Smart Recruiters
• Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Recruiter Solution to proactively source candidates
• A keen understanding of the requirements for each role in the company
• Proficiency in documenting processes
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage a broad scope of tasks and deliver on deadlines
• Able to work with pace and precision with high attention to detail
• Experience working on Mac with G Suite programs inc sheets/docs.
