Atlassian can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity, assuming candidates have eligible working rights and a sufficient timezone overlap with their team. As our offices re-open, Atlassians can choose to work remotely or return to an office, unless it’s necessary for the role to be performed in the office. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.

Here at Atlassian we’re growing our Australian footprint. We have an opportunity for a Recruiter to join our Sydney Talent Acquisition (TA) team and be part of the journey!
In this role, you’ll use your detective skills to find the best and brightest technical and non-technical talent in the world. You’ll match future Atlassians to their dream job and provide a legendary candidate experience that people share.
You’ll have responsibility for all parts of the recruitment lifecycle, including driving candidate pipelines, branding the company as an employer of choice and guiding hiring manager relationships. You thrive in a dynamic, sometimes ambiguous environment and enjoy sourcing, engaging and hiring the best talent in the market. You are someone who isn’t happy doing things the way they’ve always been done, but instead promotes innovation, and uses experience to produce results.

On your first day, we’ll expect you to have:

    • In-house or agency recruiting experience within the technology sector
    • The ability to manage large candidate pipelines across crafts while maintaining high quality experience
    • Experience using innovative sourcing methodologies and non-traditional channels
    • Familiarity with relevant tools and programs (e.g., applicant tracking systems – we use Lever, LinkedIn, referral programs, and job boards)
    • A focus on building balanced teams. Atlassian places huge value in making our TEAM a place where everyone can be themselves. You will help drive that.
    • Comfort acting as the face of Atlassian, showcasing our values and opportunities to internal and external candidates
