Atlas Graham Furgale Hiring for Machine Operator at Winnipeg, MB Full Time

The ideal candidate will have 2 – 4 yrs. experience operating manufacturing machines within a textile manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate must possess a strong mechanical aptitude, good physical dexterity, and the ability to identify and resolve potential problems before they negatively effect scheduled production. Good math skills. Reliability and dependability are essential to performing this job function. Must have a strong desire to succeed and be self-motivated.

Responsibilities include:

• Read and understand work order requirements
• Operate Machine to produce quality conforming parts
• Maintain specifications by taking measurements, and inspecting finished product
• Maintain productivity by detecting malfunctions, trouble-shooting processes, adjusting and reprogramming controls, and adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
• Maintain machine and surrounding work area. This includes completing operator PM’s on schedule and holding maintenance accountable for completing their assigned PM’s
• Maintain safe operation by adhering to safety procedures and regulations

· Previous experience operating CNC controlled machines an asset

· Have an open mind willing to try new ideas or methods. As well as suggesting opportunistic ideas to improve a process

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
