Your new role will be
As our newest Warehouse Clerk, you will enjoy working both independently and as an important part of our dynamic logistics team as you assist in all the steps required for preparing and packaging orders and shipments from our warehouse in our headquarters office in St-Laurent.

The main activities you’ll take care of

• Coordinating with transport companies that may be required for pick up when an order is picked and packed
• Identifying crates and boxes with shipping information
• Assisting in preparing crates and boxes for shipment and utilizing SAP to verify and print documents for outgoing shipments
• Preparing shipping documents, fixing identifying marks and stickers to materials being shipped and registering shipments
• Packaging all items in appropriate manner with the aid of bubble wrap, plastic wrap, boxes, tape and strapping and loading materials into transport vehicles properly to avoid damage
• Performing the preparation of orders for customers ensuring that the correct products are picked and packed and making sure that orders are classified by priority
• Visually inspecting items before completing the order preparation
• Weighing each order and entering the data prior to shipment

• Salary ($18/hour)
• Schedule of 40 hours per week 7:30 am to 4 pm or 8:30 am to 5 pm

What will help you succeed in your new role

• Your minimum high school diploma or any combination of education and professional experience
• Your 3 to 5 years’ experience working as a warehouse clerk or in a similar position
• Your forklift certification and 2 years of experience using a forklift
• Your ability to communicate in French and English (verbally and written)
• Your ability to perform heavy lifting in your every-day work as well as ability to operate pneumatic tools
• Your basic computer literacy skills specifically using Excel, Outlook and SAP
• Your working experience in logistic and industrial shop operations would be an asset.
