We are hiring! The Program Accountant provides administrative support to the head of our DOT North Florida organization. The Senior Operations Coordinator plays proactive role in ensuring that budgets, goals, and deadlines are met by monitoring progress and keeping manager well informed with up-to-date reports, graphs, and other decision-making tools. This position is based in Lake City, FL and reports to our Senior Project Manager.

How will you contribute to the team?

• Compiling data and the preparation preliminary budgets and monthly project reports and trackers

• Coordinating staff activities within organization unit

• Creates and distributes invoices and Task Work Orders

• Performs special assignments for the DOT North Florida Business Unit

• Creating charts and graphs based on financial reports

• Assisting in the development of presentations to clients or upper management.

What will you contribute?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related area preferred, plus 10 years’ experience, or 15 years’ experience without degree

• Superior interpersonal and communication skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel User skills

• Excellent skills with spreadsheets

• Knowledge of the consulting engineering industry and Florida Department of Transportation is helpful

• Ability to work under pressure and work as required to deliver before deadlines

• Ability to supervise staff effectively

• Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and in conversations
