ATCO Frontec is Looking For Bakers Helper at Jansen, SK Full Time

ATCO Frontec is seeking a Baker’s Assistant to join our kitchen team at the Jansen Discovery lodge in Jansen, SK. The Baker’s Assistant is responsible to maintain a safe, orderly and sanitized kitchen and demonstrates this by using proper food handling techniques.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Meet daily with the Head Baker to discuss menu preparation and production strategy.
• Ensure all goods are prepared to the highest standards possible, while assisting in the maintaining of cost.
• Prepares all Baked Goods for the menu and catered events.
• Ensure the correct amount of products is prepared to control waste.
• Lead by example with our Safety beliefs.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Actively involved in ensuring they are following safe and sound procedures and are adhering to government regulations as well as ATCO Frontec Health and Safety Policies and procedures
• Various other duties as assigned by Managers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Completion of a college or other post-secondary program in cooking
• The successful candidate must hold a valid food safety certificate
• 2-3 years’ experience as Baker Helper in the hotel/restaurant industry
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Professional communication skills, oral, and written
• Work well under pressure
• Food Safe Certificate is Required
