* Contract role: 3-6 months + *

 * Outside IR35 Ltd co. suitable *

* East Yorkshire / Home based *

* Rate: £38.00 – £43.00p/h DOE *

The Client:

I am working with a leading UK mechanical, civil and structural engineering company based out of East Yorkshire. Do to ever growing workload and projects, they are looking to add an Interim Principal Structural & Mechanical Engineer to their Technical team, to assist with key engineering projects

The role:

As Principal Structural & Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for the following duties:

v  Structural & mechanical calculations Solidworks

v  3D designs on Solidworks, ANSYS Workbench (FEA) or StarPro

v  Articulated joints, hydraulics and bearings assessing existing structure to bridges, gantries etc

v Moving machinery mechanical and structural steelworks etc

v  Remedial works required to put them back into service

v  Design calcs to the desired standards – EuroCode, Temporary works BS5975

v  Design reports writing where necessary

Person Specification:

As Principal Structural & Mechanical Engineer, you will require the following attributes:

v  Chartered Engineer ideally, Degree qualified in mechanical or structural engineering

v  Heavy structural engineering background

v  Own hardware and software, Solidworks etc

v  Flexible working & location, but coming to the office would be beneficial
