Manufacturing Engineer / CNC Programmer

£35 – £38 per hour (Ltd Company – Outside IR35) PAYE £28ph + 3.38 Holiday Pay

6-month initial contract with possible extensions.

This well-established manufacturer is the market leader in its sector and following some significant project wins in the aerospace sector, they are going through a rapid growth phase. The company is currently working on a variety of projects that require a Manufacturing Engineer

The role of a Manufacturing Engineer will involve the following:

• Looking at the part and programme
• Checking and modifying the programme or re- writing the programme if required
• Specifying tooling and processes
• All Programming will be completed In Solid works with Solidcam
• Over seeing batches
• 95% Turning
• Dealing with process issues

The Manufacturing Engineer will need to have the following experience:

• Worked on 3,4 and ideally 5 Axis machine centres with turning biased
• Manufacturing Engineering Experience
• Offline CNC / NC programming with solid works
