Engineering Manager

Salary – £60,000 + £5k Car allowance

Benefits – Pension, Bonus, 25 days holiday + bank holidays

With some of the UK’s best-known brands already in their portfolio, the company continues to invest in new lines and automation to help with the ever-growing demands of their customers. 2021 has been an excellent year for the business and 2022 looks like it will be even better, and such is the expected growth they are now looking to add an Engineering Manager to strengthen their senior leadership team.

Role

As an Engineering Manager your day-to-day duties will include:

• Managing 1 direct and 7 indirect engineers on a day-to-day basis
• Ownership of the quality management system to drive engineering work
• Motivating and mentoring your team
• Delivering a training matrix to ensure gaps are reduced
• Delivering on downtime and OEE
• Ensuring 100% compliance
• Ensuring KPIs are met
• Conducting daily and weekly engineering meetings
• Work towards a culture of CI
• Performance management

Candidate

The successful candidate for the Engineering Manager needs to be:

• Ideally Qualified to degree level within an engineering function
• You must have experience of working within regulated pharmaceutical environment – MHRA/FDA
• Equipment validation experience
• Strong leadership
