Introduction
We are currently working with a highly regulated site to recruit for a Technical Assurance Engineer to join their team. This position is based in Oxford and they are looking for someone to join to assist in the production of technical tasks and work packages.

Roles & Responsibilities
As the Technical Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Assist RWM with developing the establishment of effective technical governance and assurance of technical projects.
• Development of a Design Authority.

Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

• Experience of internal and external stakeholder engagement and management.
• First degree in engineering or science subject with the appropriate engineering experience.
• Charter membership of a relevant professional institution or working towards.
• Previous experience with implementation of technical assurance and governance into technical programme.
• Engineering and safety integrated engineering design development experience.
• Experience as an Intelligent Client for engineering design services in the appropriate engineering disciplines.
• Experience of delivering designs in a safety critical environment.
• Have experience of supporting feasibility, optioneering, design and operational phases on major and complex projects across a variety of highly regulated industries, ideally civil nuclear.
• Previous experience of working as part of or closely with Design Authority.
• Understanding of aspects of nuclear waste storage and / or transport within own technical discipline is beneficial.
