Introduction…
We are looking to recruit an experienced Nuclear Project Engineer to ensure that design authority standards and configuration controls are applied accordingly.

Roles & Responsibilities
As the Nuclear Project Engineer Electrical, you will be responsible for:

• Identifying project functional requirements.
• Provide support to the project optioneering process.
• Contribute to production of Project Execution Plan which includes design, safety case and commissioning strategies. Developing concept design and fit for purpose engineering solutions.
• Produce and/or approve project technical specifications.
• Developing concept design and fit for purpose engineering solutions.
• Managing design activities to in accordance with design authority standards.
• Preparing modification proposals when required.
• Carrying out assessment, approval of contractors works instructions, method statements and risk assessments.
• Approving build drawings.
• Liaising with system engineers and stakeholders.
• Ensuring Environment, Health, Safety, Security and Quality policies, procedures, work instructions and risk assessments are complied to. Also provide continuous support to improve Health, Safety, Environment and Quality on Site.

Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

• Previous practicing disciplined Engineering role (Mechanical, Electrical, C & I or Civil) on industrial plant.
• Nuclear and/or conventional project engineering experience.
• Understanding of relevant Company and/or national engineering standards.
• Working knowledge of Safety rules and risk assessment.
• Relevant Site Licence and Quality Management System requirements understanding.
• Working knowledge of CDM Designer role.
• Contract Manager AND Project delivery experience.
