We currently have an immediate full-time position opening for a Logistics Coordinator located in City of Industry, California.

Job Summary :

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for providing continuous support for domestic and international transportation logistics.

Essential Duties :

• Coordinates transportation, schedules and monitors shipments
• Prepares shipment documentation
• Ensures timely pickups, transit times and deliveries
• Follows all applicable Quality Management System documents (ISO9001 : 2000)
• Ensures the Quality Policy is followed and Quality Objectives are met
• Maintains close communication with the manufacturing and accounting departments to resolve actual and potential issues in a timely manner
• Provides expertise to Sales, Operational Managers, and other internal resources regarding the most cost effective options for meeting and exceeding customer delivery requirements.

Education and Experience :

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
• 1-2 years experience in expediting and completing shipment orders; or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with warehouse procedures, supporting billing procedures.
• Familiarity with handling letters of credit and financial documents.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
