An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Library in providing high quality library enquiry and user support services.
This varied role will suit someone enthusiastic about working with students and a positive approach to customer service. You will; staff a range of service points skills responding to a range of enquiries in person, over the phone and online; work with colleagues across the Library team; complete administrative tasks; and have the opportunity to support and contribute library service development.
You will have excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills. You will have good IT skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft office applications and the ability to work well with colleagues and students of all backgrounds

This role based in a modern library. The focus of the role is to support the on campus student experience. Therefore, the role is not suitable for off campus working.
Aston University is located within Birmingham City Centre and has accessible transport links, via bus or train and a cycle to work scheme. We offer a generous annual leave scheme with 25 days annual leave and a further 13 days bank holiday and University closure days.
