Manufacturing company is looking for a strong Talent Coordinator to help support the director as well as the lead Talent Acquisition contact:

SUMMARY

Recruits, researches, interviews, screens, and refers candidates for job openings. Coordinates orientation and onboarding activities. Coordinates activities related to human resources programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Recruiting:

• Conducts recruitment programs to attract applicants for a diversity of job openings.
• Develops and maintains network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
• Writes and places job advertising in various media.
• Reviews job descriptions with hiring managers to revise and update job requirements before creating postings.
• Works with recruiting sources (outside recruiters, employment agencies, web-based recruiting services, job fairs, etc.) to identify and recruit candidates.
• Screens and refers candidates for additional interviews.
• Source candidates using job boards and social media.
• Schedule and interview candidates as well as provide feedback to candidates.
• Perform reference and compliance checks on candidates.
• Communicate with candidates, hiring manages and other departments to ensure new hires have necessary tools.
• Prepares weekly recruiting reports.

Orientation/Separation Activities:

• Plans and conducts new hire orientation to foster positive attitude toward employee’s position, the company and business goals.
• Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
2+ years of talent acquisition, HR and recruiting coordination support.

Strong communicator is important.

Timeliness and attendance is key.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate degree in Human Resources or Business Management and 2-4 years recruiting and/or sourcing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. PHR or SPHR certification is a plus.
