Aston Carter Hiring for Logistics Coordinator at Decatur, IL, United States Full Time

Description : The Logistics Coordinator will be working for the State of Illinois. There is a need for 10 Logistics Coordinators total to support the State of Illinois.

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks including tracking / following different items.

They will be helping with the logistics behind all of the old equipment and supplies spread out throughout the State of Illinois.

The Logistics Coordinator will have to label and input each item into MS Excel and the internal software. The internal software is not yet finalized, they are trying out different software until they have determined one that works best for them.

In addition to all of this the Logistics Coordinators will need to communicate back to the State in regards to quantity of each item.

The team of 10 contractors will be spread out between 3 different locations that will be their home for the next 6 months and potentially beyond.

The locations are City of Pana, City of Rochelle, and City of Springfield. 2 of the 10 contractors will need to travel between the locations and their rates will be adjusted accordingly.

• Proven work experience working within administrative related roles and / or previous experience in logistics.- In-depth understanding of office management and daily operations- MS Office Experience (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook) – Excel / Spreadsheets is the most important.
