POSITION SUMMARY In a 24/7 operation, provide timely, accurate, and efficient information and respond to customer service inquiries for clients from numerous programs, ensuring that our clients receive accurate and timely information. Required to attain performance objectives on a monthly basis. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Open non-medical cases to guide/assist clients throughout their service needs. – Initiate and send claim forms. – Provide pre-trip assistance and answer pre-trip questions relating to emergency procedures and policy inquiries. – Interpret policies and fully explain benefit coverage and limitations to avoid client confusion. – Guide clients through the navigation of pertinent websites for online content and claim submission. – Administer and enforce client confidentiality in regards to Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Document Act. – Provide assistance with translation using an interpreter if necessary. – Create and send various types of professional correspondence.

– Comfort in dealing, and experience in past roles, with high volume exceptional service delivery – (example Retail, Travel Agents, Tech support, Banking Contact Centre – especially the Credit Card space ) – Strong experience with Customer excellence delivery in a high volume environment; ability to articulate an excellent Customer Service outcome – Ability to act with urgency for the Customer; as inherent skill and the ability to provide creative solutions for Customers; true Service Professional – Ability and comfort with navigating complex customer situations and driving a solution – Strong technical abilities and proficiency with internal platforms – Strong communication skills – clear language, strong oral and written abilities – Comfort with articulating complex processes and terminology to a variety of Customers to ensure understanding – example insurance terminology, travel terminology (Trip Delay) and Credit Card term “Day in the life” overview of role What you will do in this role: -Handle incoming contacts over the phone by Assisting callers with case opening complexities through our Guided Care proprietary platform adhering to insurance policy parameters and defined Emergency Medical Assistance processes. – You will provide Customer Champion service experiences with every interaction. – To be successful in this role you will need to be: customer-focused, resilient, able to navigate complex Customer situations, understand the importance of and respond with a sense of urgency, comfort with sensitive call nature (health concerns, emotionally driven conversations with customers in distress or discomfort)
