About this job :
As a Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will be a part of the Finance team. In this role you will be reporting to the Senior Director G2N Lead and you will be working closely with the Global Pricing function, and key stakeholders within the affiliates.

The post holder will :
Manage Astellas 3rd parties to ensure they provide agreed level of service to Astellas and mobile employees

Managing a 3rd party relationship with external providers, ensuring that the 3rd party delivers their service in line with the service contract and any agreed KPIs and milestones.

Working proactively across all affiliates to champion the G2N approach and share “best in class” practices to build Astellas skill base.

Responsible for managing the budget and forecasting of G2N within Astellas. By ensuring that Astellas receives the maximum return on its G2N investment.

Work with the affiliates to help identify opportunities for value generation, support the teams in receiving business case approvals and support the projects/affiliates by driving the projects using project and change management skills to extract the value that has been identified.

Support in G2N transparency by ensuring that the global taxonomy is maintained and where possible implemented within the ERP system.

Managing the G2N taxonomy in order to maximise the opportunity for meaningful financial comparisons across affiliates.

Support senior management with implementing G2N discussions within the wider Astellas business processes such as Forecasting, Budgeting and Business Review Meetings.

Manage the relationships with stakeholders, developing credibility through challenge, influence and support of senior stakeholders, helping to drive forward the goals of the region in addition to the strategic goals of Astellas within the Affiliates.

Collaborate with the Commercial brand teams, global pricing, affiliate commercial teams and Commercial Finance teams to bring together reporting and insights to support the Commercial Finance Leads driving ROI with the Affiliate commercial teams.

Essential Knowledge & Experience :
Qualified Accountant

Extensive Finance experience in a complex multinational environment

Track record of leading projects

Collaboration skills to interact with all levels of personnel to achieve shared goals

Proven ability to influence, (appropriately) challenge and engage diverse senior stakeholders.

Experience in complex multinational environments

Experience working on an operational and strategic level

Sound commercial awareness and ability to contribute to the development and success of the finance function and business in general.

Preferred Knowledge & Experience :
Pharmaceutical sector experience (desirable)

Strong customer focus

Evidence of working to tight deadlines

Advanced skills in Qlik or other visualisation tools.

Educations/Qualifications :
University degree in related field of Accounting/Finance
