Assystem Energy & Infrastructure Looking for Quality Delivery Manager – Civils / Senior Quality Lead at Bridgwater, Somerset Full Time

Quality Delivery Manager – Civils / Senior Quality Lead required to manage a team of up to 15 Quality Leads. Ensuring compliance with the quality management systems covering all activities within the Civils Programme including Main Hinkley Point C (HPC) Civils Works, Infrastructure Site-wide across Hinkley Point and Marine Works Avonmouth and Bristol. A key leadership role within the Assystem UK HPC Quality Delivery Team
The key objective is to ensure that project quality is delivered within the NNB Programme and by the Programme’s supply chain, consistently (safely, efficiently and right first time) compliant with the NNB supply chain project quality standard (GQAS), ISO9001 and the principles of IAEA GS-R-3. Quality delivery is essential to the Project success, from inception to operational handover, respecting Nuclear Safety as paramount always.

Framework & Boundaries
As well as being accountable to the Programme Director, the Quality Delivery Manager is responsible for complying with processes and procedures defined by the central Quality & Learning Function, which is responsible for defining and maintaining the quality management arrangements. The Quality Delivery Manager will regularly report to the Head of Quality & Learning on all aspects of quality management within their Programme including the quality compliance and performance of the contracted supply chain in the Programme.
Dimensions
To manage a team who will support the Programme Multi-Disciplinary Delivery Team and facilitate the delivery of the quality arrangements during the design, procurement, manufacturing, installation and commissioning activities.
To assess the future resource requirements and develop the team accordingly.
To work with the Programme Director to optimise the contribution of the team.
To work in collaboration with other members of the Multi-Disciplinary Delivery Team and other NNB Functions to ensure efficient and effective quality delivery for the Programme.

Qualifications & Experience
Significant experience in delivering major projects, preferably in the nuclear power sector, with significant focus on project quality, and with a specific engineering discipline expert knowledge.
·The ability to effectively implement quality management arrangements.
Experience in leading a team of Quality professionals with the ability to motivate and manage their performance.
Position requires a dynamic individual who is a team player and has a solid understanding of the quality processes in major projects across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
Strong awareness of working in an international quality environment.
Significant experience in ensuring compliance with National and International standards such as GS-R-3 and ISO 9001 and an understanding of nuclear site licence conditions.
The ability to influence the Quality aspects of complex contractor and subcontractor supplier relationships nationally and internationally.
The ability to influence and to provide constructive challenge which is accepted by others.
The ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Should have major project experience, preferably having project management qualification.
Should possess a recognised Quality qualification and accreditation.
Fluent in English language, preferably with some French language skills.
