Located in Montreal West Island, in Pointe-Claire, our plant is looking for a Paint Line Team Lead to join our amazing team. The team leader will have to ensure the smooth running of the operations of the line to be painted and the application and compliance with the manufacturing and health and safety procedures in place.

Job Description

Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

Ensure that all coils produced meet the requirements defined by the quality control department (color, adhesion, appearance, etc.) by performing all the prescribed tests.

Manage the various parameters of the manufacturing process, at his disposal, in order to maximize the performance (quality & productivity) of the facilities for which he is responsible.

Enter the operating parameters on the computer at the time of manufacturing, report any anomalies using the appropriate tools and prepare the necessary daily reports.

Participate to the operating process of the painting machine in order to maximize its use and ensure constant supervision (lunch, break, etc.).

Take responsibility for all process tasks related to the following equipment: -Cleaning basins, -Dater, -Pre-treatment machine, – Ovens & coolers, -Accumulators and centering systems.

Any other work not necessarily related to his usual tasks when assigned.

Qualifications

French, written and spoken; English is an asset.

1 to 3 years of experience in the manufacturing environment as a team lead.

Good communication skills both verbally and written.

Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.

Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.

Understanding of computers and how to navigate through programs

Paint experience in a manufacturing environment an asset

Working knowledge of safe work procedures

Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.

Have a competitive salary of $22.16 per hour;

Day premium: $ 2.50 / hour;

Night premium: $ 3 / hour;

Team Lead premium $ 2 / hour;

12 hrs schedule: from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am

40 minutes lunch is paid
