Joseph’s Classic Market is seeking a Prepared Foods Associate to join their team. This role is central to the Prepared Foods Department, offering Chef-Prepared, restaurant-quality meals. The Associate will assist guests in selecting items, providing knowledgeable and attentive customer service, and contributing to convenient, high-quality dining experiences. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic math and reading skills
- Strong attention to detail and visual presentation

Nice To Haves
- Prior kitchen or food preparation experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by offering product knowledge, answering questions, and making personalized suggestions
- Maintain product freshness through regular rotation and quality checks
- Restock and rotate displays to ensure visual appeal and freshness
- Prepare salads and pack out soups, pastas, sauces, and other prepared foods
- Plate, package, and present items to meet Joseph’s quality and appearance standards
- Accurately package, label, and price self-service items
- Follow food safety and sanitation protocols at all times
- Operate basic counter equipment, including scales, knives, and other counter equipment
- Assist with other tasks as assigned
