Job Description

We’re looking for a hands-on Assistant Editor / Production Assistant to support our fast-paced content production. This role is focused on helping streamline post-production workflows and improving the efficiency and quality of our shoots. You’ll work directly with our in-house Creative Producer to manage footage, prep edits, and assist on shoot days.

Key Responsibilities

• Transfer, organize, and back up raw footage after shoots
• Create and prepare Adobe Premiere Pro timelines and project files
• Assist with basic editing prep (syncing, labeling, rough assembly)
• Attend and support 2x weekly shoots as a Production Assistant
• Help with on-set setup, teardown, and general shoot logistics
• Ensure equipment and media are handled and stored properly
• Maintain organized file structures for efficient post-production
• Support the creative team with general production needs

What We Are Looking For

• Must-haves:
• Currently studying or recently graduated from film/media (or similar)
• Basic experience with Adobe Premiere Pro
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, proactive, and willing to learn on the job
• Must have access to a vehicle and be able to travel to shoot locations in the GTA
• Nice-to-haves:
• Previous experience on shoots (even student or personal projects)
• Familiarity with file management and post-production workflows
• Interest in content creation, eCommerce, or social media

CAN Pay Range

$18–$22 CAD per hour (~15–25 hours/week)
