Asset Inventories, Inc Hiring for Trade floor support at Manhattan, NY Full Time

A Trading Desktop Support Technician will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience performing Level 2 technology support. Bachelor’s Degree is required (Computer Science preferred.) A Trading Desktop Support Technician must demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft operating systems as well as knowledge of windows tools such as active directory. A Trading Desktop Support Technician will work as Level 2 support providing break-fix functionality. Trading Desktop Support Technicians will work with Customer DWS to:

• Perform services as required by Impulse tickets when assigned
• Install software and hardware as requested through Impulse tickets, e-mails and instructions from
• Actively participate in all projects / initiatives that either directly (desktop) or indirectly (Backend) impact user experience
• Troubleshoot various Desktop PC related issues
• Enter PeopleSoft requisitions on behalf of employees, resulting from Impulse tickets
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Provide the project team with a status and keep accurate details of all work being performed.
• Work to manage end user testing for upcoming products and projects through managing pilot user programs / deployments
• Handle all daily tasks transfer from Level 3 Engineering Team
• Knowledge of Financial markets and products
• Strong Market Data Application Support (Bloomberg, Reuters, Fidessa etc.)
• Acts as liaison between Users/ Traders, Business Units, and other technology groups.
• Interacts with external vendors for various services
• Ability to work well and troubleshoot quickly in a fast paced, time critical environment
• Must have knowledge of network and infrastructure services to help troubleshoot issues and evaluate root cause

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
