An opportunity has opened up in our Human Resources team for a bilingual Recruiter with full-cycle recruiting experience, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring great employees. Ultimately, the responsibilities of the Recruiter are to ensure our company attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline in Gabon as well as in the UK.
In this capacity you will:
work closely with managers and HR Business Partners to understand and define the company’s hiring needs
Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles in both technical and non-technical disciplines
Work in close collaboration with UK HRBP & Gabon-based HRBPs to ensure the recruitment strategy is aligned with business needs as well as employment law constraints/considerations
Manage the relationship with external recruitment partners and ensure consistency in service delivery across both direct and indirect hires;
Conduct screening interviews and work together with the hiring teams to facilitate the recruitment process;
Provide support with the Onboarding of new employees in order to become fully integrated;
Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices, with the view of driving continuous improvement;
Responsible for collating and preparing the consolidated recruitment report;
Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process;
Drive Workable as the focal point for all-recruitment related activities in the business and support new users with its key features;
Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work”.
Requirements
Our ideal recruiter is able to communicate fluently in both English and French and holds an academic HR background combined with work experience in screening, interviewing and assessing candidates. You will thrive in this role if you enjoy a fast-paced work environment and are outcome focused. Being a service support function, our view is that the Human Resources team is here to support the rest of the business to achieve its objectives.
We use Workable as our ATS and if you are familiar with Workable and its functionality it would be a great advantage, however this is not a prerequisite and we are happy to work with you on this.
Other attributes you would find useful in this capacity:
strong organisational skills to manage multi-geographical requirements
awareness of IR35 in the UK and implications on engaging temporary workforce
awareness of UK employment law/ French/Gabonese labor law
previous technical recruitment in either: energy, mining or manufacturing sectors
