Job Title: Part-Time Teaching Assistant – Mornings Only – Reception Class

Location: Hammersmith and Fulham

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Mornings Only Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team in a Reception class at a primary school in Hammersmith and Fulham.

Position: Part-Time Mornings Only Teaching Assistant Class: Reception (Primary School) Hours: 8:00 am to 11:30 am (Monday to Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the class teacher in implementing engaging and effective learning activities.
• Work in the classroom setting with a focus on a handful of children with minor ASD and language needs.
• Assist with the development and implementation of individualized education plans.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Support students in their social and emotional development.
• Assist with classroom management and organization.
• Collaborate with the teaching team to create a dynamic and nurturing learning experience.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience working with young children, preferably in a primary school or nursery setting.
• A genuine passion for education and a commitment to the well-being and development of young learners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Understanding of child development and early years education.
