Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant (Temporary Position)

Location: Primary School in Chessington

Contract Type: Temporary, ASAP to February Half Term

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school in Chessington. The position is temporary and will commence as soon as possible, concluding at the February half term. Our school, proud to be rated “Good” by Ofsted, operates as a two-form entry, providing a supportive and collaborative environment for both students and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the delivery of inclusive lessons to Key Stage 1 students.
• Implementing a creative and well-structured curriculum with a solid focus on phonics.
• Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to the overall school community.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working in Key Stage 1.
• A thorough understanding of phonics and its application in the classroom.
