Aspris now have a new opportunity for a Quality Improvement Lead to support our schools and colleges.

The post holder is responsible for providing assurance and support for operational quality and safety for an identified number of independent schools and colleges, as well as providing guidance, coaching and auditing to achieve sustained improvement.

A responsive, flexible and proactive approach is required, whilst supporting schools and colleges to develop and improve the quality of the practice and services provided.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Deliver coaching and training as necessary in relation to developing and improving quality and practice.
• Provide credible and visible quality improvement leadership, support and advice to services.
• Monitor the young person’s experience across services, review themes, and support the changes to practice and policy in response to this.
• Work with services to review their service improvement plans, and quality performance indicators and assist in determining an agreed set of objectives with SMART measures.
• Ensure progress against these plans is reviewed on a regular basis, escalating concerns where improvement isn’t occurring in a timely way.
• Provide external scrutiny and support to sites utilising agreed frameworks.
• Lead investigations and reviews, including serious incidents, thematic reviews, whistleblowing and providing reports within the given timescales and in accordance with policies.
• Provide analysis, thematic review and internal benchmarking in collaboration with colleagues and networks.
• Contribute to Audit and Policy development and implementation; this includes sampling of work with services to ensure application and embedding of learning, implementation of standards and that improvement is sustained.
• Work intensively with services, including pre or post regulatory inspection, ‘watch’ sites, and those sites with regulatory breaches.
• Ensure that work is collaborative and in accordance with company and divisional values and behaviours at all times.
• To ensure continuous improvement in all areas pertaining to quality and safety for all those who use our services, in order that all settings provide consistently high quality service delivery and avoid fluctuations in quality
• Develop, manage and maintain strong working relationships with internal / external stakeholders.
• Undertake specific pieces of work, as agreed with the Head of Quality or the Director of Governance and Risk

The role holder will be expected to combine home working with regular site visits (at least 3 days/week or 60% of their time). Role will require frequent overnight stays. A valid UK driving licence is essential for the role and a car allowance will be provided.
