We’re looking for a driven, people-centric Senior Software Developer to help take our engineering team and our product to the next level. You will create applications from scratch using .NET and other leading Microsoft technologies, configure, tune and provide support for existing applications. You will use your experience with software and/or hardware based telephony to support and build voice enabled applications.

Responsibilities:
Leading and mentoring a team of developers using full stack of technologies

Managing day-to-day tasks with minimal supervision, completing deliverables in a timely manner

Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes

Promoting software development best practices

Understanding the implications of software designs and implementation choices on application usability, performance and maintainability

What your day will look like:
Experience with public cloud infrastructure and cloud services such as AWS

5+ years in large-scale software development with modern programing languages such asC# .NET Core, Python, Java, Go

Strong experience developing web applications using Angular 2+ or React and reactive programming patterns

Proficiency in front-end technologies HTML5, TypeScript, JavaScript & CSS3

Understanding of web security and the different techniques available for Authentication, Authorization (claims-based security, OIDC, OAuth 2.0 , Active directory, Federation services & SSO)

Experience with asynchronous programming and multithreading is required

Experience in mobile development (hybrid, native) is also an asset

Hands on experience with fundamental data structures and algorithms is preferred

Experience of using non-relational and relational databases

Proficient understanding of source code versioning strategies and tools (Git)

Familiarity with Microservices

Familiarity with CI/CD (DevOps) process and containers (Docker, Kubernetes)

Experienced working in an Agile scrum team as a key contributor and a team player

Fast learner and extremely comfortable with building and improving complex software systems for critical business processes

Able to consistently solve complex technical issues independently when required

Excels in taking ownership of design, build and quality for assigned tasks and issues until completion

About you:
Minimum 2-4 years experience

Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related disciplines

Experience using Twilio or equivalent for telephony, IVR and/or programmatic SMS

Familiarity with ASP.NET and SQL Server

Understanding of RESTful web services

Ability to understand and solve complex problems with thoughtful software solutions

3+ years of experience using .NET in C#

1+ year of experience with telephony technologies (openSIPS preferred)

Understanding of design patterns

Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

Must be legally able to work in Canada
