35 hours per week c£23,000 – £26,000 P/A depending on experience

Achieve Training is part of the Aspire Housing Group, a social enterprise providing training and employment opportunities for local people and working to regenerate the local area.

We currently have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Maths Tutor to join our delivery team. The tutor will be based at our Training Centre in Stoke and will be required to work at locations across Staffordshire.

The role will be responsible for the planning, delivery and assessment of Functional Skills Maths and English and GCSE Maths for a variety of learner abilities from Entry Level to Level 2.

The post holder will need to be able to work both flexibly and independently, but also closely with other tutors and assessors.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of teaching Maths and English Functional Skills and GCSE Maths to groups of learners in a classroom environment and on a one to one basis, coupled with a relevant teaching qualification and a subject specialist qualification at level 3 or above in Maths.
