Aspen Valley Hospital Hiring for Talent Acquisition Specialist Job at Aspen, CO Full Time

Provides leadership in the recruitment and retention of talent into clinical and non-clinical positions within the organization. Collaborates and consults with hiring managers on strategic and tactical talent acquisition plans designed to meet the business objectives of the unit or department. Creates and executes talent acquisition processes that are consistent with the Hospital’s strategic goals and objectives. Develops and delivers a talent acquisition plan to attract and retain high-caliber qualified candidates. Understands and anticipates current market trends and their impact on the talent acquisition and retention of highly qualified talent. Works collaboratively as a member of the Human Resources team to receive HR visitors, communicate HR policies and procedures, and direct staff to appropriate HR team member to resolve issues. Provides excellent customer service while maintaining the highest level of security and confidentiality possible.

Primary Scope of Responsibilities:

• Manages the entire employee talent acquisition process to advertising, sourcing, interviewing, screening, selection process and hiring of applicants.
• Works closely with Employee Housing Manager to: communicate current and anticipated housing needs, stay abreast of local housing resources and costs, review housing communications being made to candidates, and relay housing solutions that may assist in talent acquisition.
• Works closely with marketing vendor(s) to manage all print, online & social media marketing/advertising.
• Manages all job postings (including adherence to formal approval process) through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Assists all department managers, directors and executive team members in arranging & preparing for interviews, candidate evaluation and scheduling travel for candidates.
• Training new department managers on organizational hiring processes & procedures, as well as, HR employment laws as they relate to the hiring process.
• Serves as resource to Department Directors for all talent acquisition needs.
• Develops annual talent acquisition budget and submits for approval to Chief Human Resources Officer.
• Monitors talent acquisition costs to ensure department is staying within budget.
• Enters all talent acquisition-related invoices and submits for approval.
• Manages all clinical travel needs (contract staffing) including through Vendor Management System: posting open positions, executing contracts, managing traveler personnel issues, extending & terminating contracts.
• Attends annual career fair(s) within the community.
• Troubleshooting recruitment challenges for all hard-to-fill positions.
• Manages the Hospital’s career webpage, ensures contact stays up-to-date and relevant.
• Researches and stays abreast of market trends and tactics used to recruit and retain employees in primary market.
• Collaborates with Human Resources team to develop and implement department goals, strategies and process improvement initiatives.
• Works closely with HR team member(s) to ensure a smooth start to onboarding is initiated for each candidate and all pertinent documentation and information is relayed.
• Manages RPO workflow, schedule, budget, results and ROI.
• Understand HR policies and procedures and assists walk-in HR customers as needed.
• Assists team members when needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years of Recruitment and/or Talent Acquisition experience required
• Strong customer service & communication (written and verbal) skills required
• Strong multitasking skills required
• Computer proficiency required
• Healthcare experience preferred

Education/Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Our hire-in rates of pay are based on years of relevant experience. Listed below are our hire-in rates for the position, which includes: minimum pay (no relevant experience) and mid-point (12 or more years).

Minimum = $30.69/hr

Mid-Point = $39.93/hr
