About us
The role
To provide day to day administrative support to the HR team to meet customer needs and business requirements.
Key accountabilities
Execute key administrative employee life cycle processes for the function to ensure operational requirements are met and that procedures and documentation are compliant with HR policy, Payroll, legislation and regulatory requirements.
Ensure activity is completed in a timely manner and in line with SLAs and ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of information provided. Including but not limited to:
Record employee activity and appointments on HR database to enable accurate MI information to be produced
Co-manage the AskHR inbox as the first point of contact for all queries and employee life cycle activity.
Ensure efficient handover of payroll information including salary and taxation matters to ensure accurate and timely remuneration
Ensure required notifications to IT service desk for joiners, movers and leavers.
Liaise with other HR teams and key internal stakeholders to ensure administration processes run smoothly and meet service level agreements
Liaise with external providers to enable effective delivery of HR, Benefits and Payroll services
Assume responsibility for ‘first line’ general HR and Payroll enquiries and managing the AskHR central mailbox to maintain a responsive and quality HR service to the business
Prepare and distribute communications and paperwork to internal and external key stakeholders
Liaise with internal stakeholders and external service providers to minimize potential risks or issues whilst ensuring smooth administration processes
Liaise with employees and managers to provide ‘first line’ support and guidance on HR, Benefits and Payroll matters
Contribute to the design and development of HR Shared Services to ensure best practice and legal compliance in all aspects
Skills & experience
Experience in an administrative or similar role, required
Experience in HR, preferred but not required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Proficient in MS Office applications; Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Broad knowledge of relevant HR procedures, preferred
General knowledge of HR, Benefits and Payroll processing, preferred
Build and maintain effective relationships internally and with external providers
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
