Senior HR Advisor – 6 month FTC
Location: Greater London House, Hampstead Rd, London, NW1

Reports to: HR Partner
The Role
This role will assist with implementing a proactive People Experience strategy with objectives that drive and support the delivery of our key strategic pillars. It will suit an existing Senior People Advisor or an experienced People Advisor who is ready to step up. This role would suit an individual who is used to working in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment, where change is constant and flexibility is vital for success. Through taking ownership for your business area and projects, you will have the opportunity to influence people initiatives across ASOS.

What you’ll be doing;
Develop a solid understanding of your business area to identify strengths, weaknesses, challenges and opportunities from both a commercial and People Experience Team perspective. You will also support the PX Partner in helping to identify people strategies as well as implementing frameworks and objectives that will deliver results in line with your business areas people plans, the ASOS Values and the People Experience strategic pillars
Work with the PX Partners to act as a knowledgeable Advisor on operational HR issues at employee and manager levels through the full People Experience lifecycle
Support the PX Partners in providing Managers with the right tools to ensure employee performance is optimised, identifying and facilitating appropriate interventions through the performance framework Develop and maintain strong and trusted partnerships with managers, providing constructive challenges as well as acting as a sounding board and advisor.
Support line managers with creative, tailored solutions to people challenges
Understand PX Team tools and policies, partnering with business areas to ensure best practice, whilst maintaining a pragmatic approach
Collaborate with PX Team centres of excellence to help support the successful delivery on all annual processes for your business area
Collaborate with PX Team centres of excellence to support the design and implementation of relevant initiatives and tools that meet business needs
Produce, analyse and share data to identify trends and assist with recommendations on how to address challenges and opportunities
Understand and identify areas of change within your business area and assist with managing these as effectively as possible
Take ownership of your role in driving the delivery of key People Experience Team projects and support the wider team with projects as directed by the Senior PX Partners or
Take a proactive approach to professional development for yourself and others, using internal and external networks and resources to advance and share knowledge
Act as a mentor for PX Administrators and Advisors, providing support and guidance where required
Be an ambassador for the People Experience team

Qualifications
We’d love to meet someone with;
Previous experience as a People Advisor in a fast paced environment
Experience in handling a wide range of employee relations cases,
Experience in building strong relationships with teams and stakeholders
Experience in actively contributing and driving forward key people initiatives and project work
Experience and confidence in challenging as well as supporting managers
Experience of applying best practice and a commercial outlook to people issues
CIPD qualified or willingness to study for CIPD
Fun, team player who works collaboratively for the success of the wider team
Deals with confidential information with tact and diplomacy, 100% discreet
Confident communicator, comfortable communicating with employees at all levels, flexing your style as necessary
Able to manage own emotions in the face of pressure, set-backs or dealing with provocative situations
Excellent organisational skills, always meeting deadlines
Highly numerate with good business acumen
Strong attention to detail
Able to build and maintain strong, meaningful relationships
Happy to deal with ambiguity, fluid situations and changing deadlines
Able to balance priorities with the ability to handle the day to day workload as well as projects
Considers the bigger picture as well as the detail
