The function plays a huge role in our company performance and they are full of ideas to take that even further with a growing and dynamic team.

This role sits within the Central Costs & Payments team.

Key responsibilities of this role:

• Ensure accurate end to end accounting for payroll and share based payments, including supporting the Financial Accounting team with preparation of the year end statutory accounts
• Ownership of the budgeting and quarterly forecasting process for payroll, headcount, share based payments and PX cost centres
• Work closely with the PX Reward team, providing financial support with RemCo papers and performing ad hoc analysis of PX related initiatives, including organisational design programmes and bonus
• Coaching of x1 Finance Analyst

What you’ll be doing

• Acting as a finance business partner, supporting the PX team
• Work with the business to ensure correct and accurate end to end accounting, including cost controls, accruals required, accurate balance sheet reconciliations and ensure data integrity of information
• Work closely with the PX leadership team to understand any business initiatives and associated change impacts from requirements through to successful implementation
• Forecasting on a quarterly/monthly basis, with continual focus on improving forecasting accuracy and efficiency
• Analysing movements between forecast and actuals/last year
• Produce timely, accurate and insightful reporting and analysis
• Ad hoc analysis and scenario modelling to inform business decision making
• Ensure appropriate and robust financial control environment, spanning from the posting of journals to assisting with supporting documentation for the external audit
