Position: Client Support Associate – Online Retailer (Part-Time)

Location: Orange County, CA residents only

Hours: Friday (6 hour daytime shift), 1 – 2 Weeknights (flexible hours), Sunday (flexible 3 hour shift 2x per month). Approx. 10 – 15 hours per week.

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Client Support Associate to join our team in the online pet supplement industry. If you have excellent communication skills and experience working with an online retailer, this is the perfect opportunity for you to contribute to our growing company.

Core Responsibilities & Duties:

• Respond to customer inquiries via email
• Determine package weights and appropriate shipping method for client orders.
• Provide accurate and detailed information about our pet supplement products, ingredients, dosage instructions, and potential benefits.
• Assist customers in selecting the most suitable pet supplements based on their pets’ specific needs and health conditions.
• Process and track customer orders in our customized software system
• Handle and resolve customer complaints or issues with empathy, patience, and a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the purchasing process.
• Work with our partners at our fulfillment company to ensure orders are processed accurately

Requirements:

• Previous experience in customer service communicating with clients via email. We are not a call center and take a personal approach with each client.
• Experience with online shipping using USPS rates and products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong empathy and patience when dealing with customers.
• Proficiency in using Word, Excel and online software
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• A quiet home office space with a reliable internet connection for remote work.
• Proven ability to handle challenging customer interactions and turn them into positive experiences.
