We are a fast-growing designer and manufacturer of Men’s and Boy’s apparel. We are looking for a motivated and talented “Senior Designer” to join our team. Candidate should be well versed in Wovens primarily and Active categories.   

 ***Candidate will have to work in the office 5 days a week *** 

Our office is very spaced out, it is in compliance with COVID office regulations. Located in Cliffside Park , NJ 

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design
• At least 10+ years of design experience in Men’s /Kids / Wovens
• Design experience with Target and Walmart is a plus
• Must be able to execute Tech packs and Design and Manage a category Independently.
• Must have advanced skills in Illustrator
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
• Must be very well versed in Woven Fabric Knowledge,
• Washes and Finishes, Knowledge of Active + Knits is a plus.
• Must be a team player as well as able to work independently
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Deep Knowledge in fit, fabric development, finishes, washes and construction detail
• Positive and professional attitude
• Ability to multitask with multiple accounts, teams, and overseas mills
• Travel Domestically/ Internationally 4/6 times a year (When travel opens) 

Job Responsibilities

• Identify new trends, innovations, opportunities, and lead the creation of seasonal design concepts to final product in their category.
• Develop strong working relationships with cross functional team members (Sample making and Tech Teams) through communication and problem solving.
• Source new fabrics, sustainable attributes for each season
• Initiates tech packs, including detailed sketches, wash direction, garment construction, fabric construction, trimmings, etc.
• Shop local markets for inspiration
