About the Role

We are currently seeking to appoint a Talent Acquisition Officer with a leading NSW Government agency in the People and Culture team who will be responsible for providing end to end recruitment support for the recruitment function of the Department.

Key Accountabilities Include

• Collaboratively source and hire top talent through various channels.
• Maintain a candidate database and proactively build a talent pool.
• Review, shortlist, and phone screen candidates for advertised roles.
• Conduct reference and employment checks as needed.
• Ensure positive candidate experiences, prepare interview guides, and optimize the recruitment process.
• Schedule and coordinate candidate interviews and employment screening.
• Manage interview panel calendars and send calendar invites to hiring managers.

About You

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or relevant work experience in recruitment.
• Advanced interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people internally and externally.
• Direct experience with varied resourcing channels like LinkedIn, job boards and other social media channels.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as working autonomously under broad direction.
• Experience with LinkedIn projects is desirable.
