THE OPPORTUNITY

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Consultant. The role is responsible for supporting Managers, Team Leaders, and employees to deliver high performance outcomes. You will assist in working on initiatives to uplift staff engagement and identify business improvements.

• Build an in depth understanding across the region of each business unit and work with Management to build and implement Human Resources solutions and people initiatives aligned with business needs
• Provide recommendations and solutions covering multiple areas of Human Resources, including learning and development, remuneration, benefits, employee relations, and organisational development and change management
• Keep abreast of legislative change and recommend changes to HR policies and procedures to ensure ER compliance
• Conduct training in HR processes and procedures and HR internal operations to our people
• Participate in employee lifecycle and key HR projects supporting engagement and retention
• Ensure compliance to ASG Corporate and Operational Policies

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact at all levels
• Outstanding ability to manage competing demands and adhere to tight deadlines
• Sound negotiation, influencing and relationship management skills
• In-depth knowledge of Human Resource organisational policies and generalist HR best practices.
• Degree qualified in a human resources or a related discipline
• Experience or interest in Organisation Learning & Development would be advantageous
