Talent Acquisition Manager – Future Programme (Workday, ServiceNow)

As the Talent Acquisition Manager you will work on a programme called “Future”. The Future Programme will see our business decouple from legacy systems, used for the past 20 years, and migrate to a plethora of best-in-class enterprise systems. This business wide transformation, or ‘reset’, will unlock opportunities and enable our business strategy by ‘Creating our Tomorrow’.

As the Future People Tower SME (subject matter expert) for Talent Acquisition you’ll understand how our function works and be accountable for end-to-end design (all roles and processes including Colleague, Manager and HR Shared Services).

Across Talent Acquisition, the majority of our systems and processes will be consumed by our digital core vendors Workday and ServiceNow. And where the opportunity presents, we will enhance our digital core by integrating best in class partners to further enhance the journey and our core capability.

Please note this is an 18-month secondment / fixed term position, but a high percentage of our fixed term colleagues secure permanent opportunities along the way.

Your Role

• Accountable for end-to-end process, system and user experience design (all roles in processes including Colleague, Manager & HR Shared Services) to meet business needs
• Collaborate with Future Programme team members to deliver on time, out of the box solutions which unlock opportunities and efficiencies
• Understand how our function works – People/HR team, HR Shared Services, Colleagues, Managers and any other role in a process
• Represent Talent Acquisition as a functional SME
• Ability to challenge existing mindset and ways of working – simplification, automation & standardisation at the heart of how we work
• Can work independently and at pace
• Align design to drive simplicity and consistency across our agreed ways of working
• Define training needs and partner with the Learning team to ensure robust plans are built to optimise the operational model
• Support and collaborate with the Future Talent Acquisition Senior Manager to deliver quarterly tower, people and business objectives

About You

• In-depth understanding of how a People (HR) and/or HR Shared Services function operates
• Hands on experience of HR Shared Service and Talent Acquisition best practice process design; gained either in-house or via RPO
• Experience of change or transformation projects
• Experience of building new practices in an organisation
• Best practice understanding of end-to-end TA processes within a fast paced, volume driven operation
• Able to lead system, process and policy design
• Comfortable when challenging the status quo to drive change in process and behaviours
