ASDA Hiring for HR Business Partner at Lutterworth Full Time

Our HR Business Partner’s play a crucial role in our depot’s, managing the people function and being involved with anything related to our colleagues, from recruitment and right to work checks through to grievances and absence. After all, our colleagues are at the heart of our business.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Creating and implementing the People Plan
• Driving effective communication by advocating and actively supporting communication initiatives such as huddles and listening groups
• Supporting and coach managers to deliver the plan throughout the year
• Driving colleague performance through the line
• Proactively managing absence, identifying and highlighting trends, promoting Asda flexible working schemes and reviewing labour turnover
• Ensuring all disciplinary and grievance activity is dealt with in an appropriate and timely manner. Provide advice, guidance and support to the line in relation to complex issues.

If you’re looking for a chance to develop in logistics, this could be the role for you! We’ll work with you on your shifts, but the chances are you’ll have to work some evenings and weekends.

About You

You’ll need to be organised and have excellent written and verbal communication skills as you will be responsible for keeping colleague’s up to date and engaged, as well as building strong relationships and networking. You will be confident in challenging at all levels, with a ‘can-do’ attitude and a proactive approach, role modelling the Asda values in everything you do. You’ll have an enthusiastic attitude and be a strong coach, mentor and motivator as well as role model to the colleagues and managers around you. A CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential.
