How you will make a difference as a Talent Acquisition Specialist:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruitment activities to support the staffing needs for assigned Ascentria Care Alliance programs. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will develop strong and collaborative relationships with hiring managers and provide sourcing, prescreening, interviewing, referencing, and other related recruitment supports leading to timely and well-qualified hires.
Essential Responsibilities:

• Proactively create applicant pools by posting jobs through various job boards, social media platforms, professional organizations, career fairs, open houses as appropriate to the position.
• Conduct Boolean sourcing to attract passive and well-qualified candidates.
• Post new jobs on Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and at the outset of a search conduct strategy meetings with managers, in conjunction with Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, to develop appropriate strategy to meet the program/departments recruitment needs.
• Use ATS to identify and track candidates through each step of the hiring process.
• Consistent with identified hiring strategy for each position, screens all applications/resumes and conducts telephone pre-screening on all viable candidates.
• Schedules qualified candidates for job interviews with hiring managers.
• Provide an exceptional candidate experience by maintaining clear and consistent communication with candidates about the process and timeline and promptly responding to their questions and concerns.
• Collects interview feedback from hiring manager and other staff involved in interview and consults with manager on whether a candidate should be hired.
• Communicates provisional job offers and provides all necessary documentation to support offer.
• Completes timely references consistent with Ascentria’s referencing practices and notifies the hiring manager of any potential issues/concerns based on the referencing.
• Conducts background checks, criminal background checks, driving record checks, professional license checks and others as necessary depending upon the position and state regulations.
• Coordinates pre-placement physicals and other required pre-placements testing as required by facility and/or program.
• Process new hires through onboarding system and complete hire on day one.
• Participate in Human Resources meetings and other department meetings as necessary.

Do you have the following qualifications and skills?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications or related field required or equivalent experience in lieu of degree required
• Minimum of 2 years of recruitment experience required.
• Demonstrated success utilizing creative sourcing strategies including social media and professional networking required.
• Demonstrated commitment to inclusive hiring practices and the ability to support diversity in workforce recruitment and retention.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to travel to various Ascentria offices and other locations for meetings, job fairs and networking to support recruitment activities with own vehicle.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Must have strong organizational skills and be able to manage competing priorities.
• Must have the ability to prioritize workload and manage time effectively.
