Day to day you will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Lead to support the effective recruitment of healthcare professionals and non-clinical business support staff, whilst ensuring that they receive a great candidate experience and move through our pipeline seamlessly.
This will mean managing a range of administrative work and candidate facing activities, including posting job adverts, coordinating recruitment data through our ATS and managing applications. You will also regularly liaise with hiring managers and candidates to book interviews and organise selection activities.
How your role fits within our team
You will report into the Talent Acquisition Lead and will work flexibly and collaboratively with the wider team on all Ascenti recruitment activities when needed.
This in an internal recruitment role, so you will work collaboratively with your peers and the wider People Team to achieve shared goals and targets. Particularly the People Coordinators who work to manage onboarding processes and admin.
Key responsibilities
Reviewing job descriptions sent by hiring managers and organising job adverts
Using our ATS to post vacancies in a timely manner
Using our job advertisement platform to post job ads across appropriate channels online
Reviewing spending and job advertisement data and tweaking where necessary
Liaising with recruitment agencies to coordinate temp and agency candidates
Liaising with internal customers to arrange assessments and interviews
Conducting telephone interviews with suitable candidates
Preparing candidates for interview
Ensuring all relevant documentation, including ‘Right to Work’ ID and checks are present and correct
Managing feedback and offers post interview
Supporting with work relating to the onboarding of new starters as is needed
Working with People Coordinators to keep our pipeline moving and to ensure that our candidates have a great experience when joining us
