Location: Redwood City, CA. We will be relocating in September 2022 to a new facility in Sunnyvale CA

Job Summary

We are seeking a full cycle Talent Acquisition Lead to support our US recruiting. This role provides the opportunity to work with multiple stakeholders to support Ascend’s expanding US business. The position reports directly to the VP of Human Resources and will assist with ensuring a world-class candidate engagement experience. In addition, the Talent Acquisition Lead will assist with building innovative recruiting strategies, candidate branding and experience throughout the hiring journey.

Responsibilities

• Ensure recruiting processes align with current and future workforce needs
• Perform sourcing to fill open positions and anticipate future needs
• Plan and conduct recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening calls etc.)
• Develop the most effective, economical, and appropriate recruiting channels and methods
• Partner with the VP of HR to continuously work towards improving the candidate experience
• Organize and/or attend career fairs, assessment centers or other events
• Identify areas of improvement within recruitment operations
• Utilize metrics to create reports and identify areas of improvement
• Become a trusted partner of hiring managers and department leadership

Qualifications

• 4+ years of proven experience as a Talent Acquisition or Recruiter Lead
• Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, and employment branding
• Understanding of all selection methods and techniques
• Experience with applicant tracking systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Willingness to engage new sourcing techniques and provide guidance to hiring teams
• Willingness to understand the duties and competencies of different roles
