We are hiring a teacher to work with students from preschool through eighth grade. The teacher will be responsible for instructing the students in Science, Math and English. If you enjoy helping students learn and developing innovative lesson plans, this is a rewarding position for you. Knowledge of the subjects is an asset but this can be learned on the job. We are also looking for someone who is able to work with students one-on-one, firm and kind discipline and an ability to relate to our students.

Responsibilities:

• Teach students of all ages.
• Guide students in the development of their academic skills and social skills.
• Prepare lessons (detailed below).
• Conduct lessons in an engaging way that encourages student participation.
• Provide a safe learning environment.
• Assess student’s performance and communicate with parents and guardians as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ progress in schoolwork.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $21.00 – $35.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• After school
• Choose your own hours
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekend availability

Education:

• Associate (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver’s License (Required)
• CPR Certification (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:
