We are looking for an experienced appliance technician for full-time work.

Asap Ventures Ltd is the leader on Vancouver Island. We have a strong team of 20 employees and are a local Vancouver Island company that strives for customer satisfaction and the success of our staff. The owner of the company is Technician and is working with his 11 techs and 4 installers daily assisting on calls and diagnostics. Our team has 11 fulltime service coordinators who Schedule, Parts order and do all administration for the technicians. Working for a technician is what most technicians prefer as the owner knows Exactly what you are dealing with. Company’s such as appliance stores or manufacturer will be running you with a manager and they don’t get it… Metrics will be your only review. Which is a frustrating environment to work with covering up sales mistakes or delivery damage. You are a cost to doing business in sales. With ASAP you will be a third party not related to sales of appliances. This neutrality allows you to focus on helping customers for the brands we are Authorized service company.

Other Job opportunities listed on Indeed are more of a contractor model which labour pay out is offered as a gross number for example $4000 – $10000 gross pay and you need to account that you will be spening at the minimum 45 % on business costs such as insurance, vehicle, parts etc. make sure you ask these questions! 10000 gross pay leaves you at the end of the year earning less than 40k per year and subject to re invest in a new van every three years. Its a bad deal and many techs get caught by the big Gross Pay outs and are not experianced in business and realize that you are your own business. ****

Asap provides in home repair and full service installation for the major retailers and manufacturers warranty programs.

We are Authorized by all manufacturers so we have access to all techlines and service information.

We pay $40 per call/ per day techs take 8 to 10 calls daily. Our company pays its techs for every trip they make. You can make very good money and paired with our benefits we take care of our people very well.

ASAP is based in Victoria, with techs remotely working in Victoria- Campbell River as well as Kelowna.

You will be meeting with the other Technicians daily and sharing experiences. We have a very good community of people involved with our Company. You will feel welcome and part of the family. drivers license , 1 to 5 years experience with multiple brands, English-speaking, cfc recovery ticket, appliance gas c ticket.
