Asante Hiring for Hospital Ambassador at Medford, OR Full Time

Position Summary

The Hospital Ambassador is an integral member of the security/guest services team ensuring that patients, visitors, and guests are appropriately greeted and directed upon arrival at Asante facilities. The Ambassador provides top-notch customer service and promotes a positive image for the hospital and health system. Responsibilities include directing guests to designated parking areas and enforcing parking rules and regulations as needed; guiding guests to their intended destinations within the hospital; and aiding immobile guests and visitors safely and courteously by providing wheelchair assistance as needed. The ambassador acts as the face of Asante and responds to the needs of patients, volunteers, and visitors with the highest level of customer service by providing courteous and timely information, direction, and assistance.

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate as required for the position.
• Customer service experience and ability to effectively problem solve.
• Demonstrates an approachable and authoritative demeanor.

Working Conditions

• This role requires the stamina to stand for prolonged periods of time and the strength to assist with wheelchairs or other medical devices.
