Your Impact

A unique and exciting opportunity to join a newly created team. You will support the Risk and Assurance function in the delivery of their functional objectives across Asahi Beverages Oceania, including management and implementation of projects, participation in risk assessments and completing internal audit and control reviews.

A critical thinker with an eye for detail, you will be both process control and risk focused. This great opportunity will give you broad exposure to governance, risk and control-based programs.

Key responsibilities

• Participate and assist with delivering the risk management program under the guidance of the Group Risk Manager. This includes risk profiling meetings and workshops for commercial divisions, regional hub functions and projects
• Participate and complete internal audit reviews under the guidance of the Group Internal Audit Manager and/or Internal Audit Senior, including maintaining electronic work papers to support findings and recommendations
• Support the co-ordination of the financial control and compliance program under the guidance of the Group Internal Controls Manager, including compliance testing and reporting
• Perform data analytics over transactional datasets to support process and control testing
• Assist with reporting and communicating risks, findings and recommendations to all levels of management across the three (3) functional work programs
• Administer the Policy Governance Framework and facilitate the updating of Policies
• Responsible for supporting and maintaining the software used across the Function

About You

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Accounting or Finance.
• Previous experience with FMCG/manufacturing being highly regarded but not essential
• You will have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to manage relationships across the business
• You are agile, with a curious nature and a willingness to learn
• A self-starter with the ability to work autonomously, to take initiative and be proactive
• Process improvement focused with strong analytical skills
• Experience across influencing and change management
• Knowledge and use of data analytical tools (Power BI/Tableau)
• Knowledge of business processes and controls
