Asahi Beverages Hiring for Assistant Accountant – Part time .8 Job at Melbourne Full Time

As we continue to grow, we have a rare opening for an Assistant Accountant who is a key member of the finance function and support all areas of the business including sales, production, logistics and hospitality.

The key responsibilities of this broad role include:

• Accounts payable and weekly payment runs
• Accounts receivable
• Reconciliation of bank accounts
• Credit card statement reconciliation
• Data entry into, and maintaining data integrity of, various systems used across the business
• Weekly/monthly hospitality and wholesale internal reporting
• Payroll reporting to CUB
• Month end processes, including balance sheet reconciliations, accrual journals, supporting stocktakes and other reporting
• Fixed asset management
• Systems and processes improvement

About you

We’re looking for someone that is energetic and driven, and:

• Has a high level of data entry accuracy and attention to detail
• Will thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Is willing to own the role, be proactive and work autonomously
• Has excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills used to build effective working relationships across the business

• Understanding and experience in hospitality is desirable but not necessary
• Understanding and experience in FMCG/Alcohol/manufacturing is desirable but not necessary

• Strong Excel skills and is competent using a range of software programs. At Matilda Bay we use
  • Xero for accounting
  • Unleashed for production and inventory management
  • Bepoz and Cooking The Books for hospitality
  • Carton Cloud for logistics fulfillment
  • Shopify for our eCommerce store
• Qualifications in accounting or commerce and/or relevant experience is preferred
