The Opportunity:
Our finance operations team is looking for an Assistant Analyst to take on a challenging and varied role within our UK Finance Operations team. In this role, you will work closely with the Finance, Portfolio, and Project teams to support financial activities, as well as participate in finance projects and continuous improvement activities within Finance Operations.
Duties will include:
Your responsibilities will include supporting project managers in meeting client requirements and conducting finance and inception project finance reviews with project managers. You will provide project financial insight and narrative to Finance Analysts and Senior Analysts. Gain a good understanding of the sectors, clients, and projects within the Portfolio, as well as supporting with relevant data and analysis. You will prepare fee invoices and applications for payment, ensuring WIP is kept to a minimum. While assisting with reconciliation as needed, you will monitor outstanding timesheets on projects. Furthermore, you will supply information for audits, and ensure accurate information is maintained in the financial systems, including CRM, Ovaview and the Fee Portal. In addition, you will perform general financial activities, monitor shared mailboxes, resolve or escalate queries and support with Accounts Payable processes. You will also work with the Training Lead to provide financial training and support to Finance, Project Managers and other staff on Arup Financial processes and software.
