About this role
The buildings’ engineering team require software development support to digitise Arup’s engineering processes and transform the way it works, leveraging automation and data-driven design. We want to deliver new and better outcomes to our clients through the use of advanced software engineering to supplement advanced engineering automation and the development of innovative digital services.
This role provides an opportunity to be exposed to a wide range of activities and technologies in a thriving and highly technical environment. You will be working to develop solutions with the building engineering group in Melbourne that will make a real different to our engineering teams and to the products and services we deliver to our clients and customers.
You will be expected to attend and actively participate in team meetings, group meetings and user forums on a regular basis and to play an active role in Arup’s skills networks and digital transformation initiatives.
This role will work closely with others in the digital development teams in Melbourne and the wider Australasian region, with the wider Digital Technology (Information Technology) Group and with colleagues in business groups and engineering teams.
What will I do?
The graduate will work with other building engineers and programmers to develop tools, products and workflows to enable better design solutions and integration of digital products and systems into the built environment.
